There was a book I read when I was young that taught that you can break the silver cord that binds the body and soul. That was before they came up with the term out of body. But it warned if you left for too long, you could not return and your body would die.

Ya I heard if you went to far you could break the cord so I tried to do so but it didn't break. But then I did stop when I ran into something else out there.
