then would you mind telling us why people don't have to sacrfice something every time they go to confetinols, or when praying for forgiveness. From what it sounds like forgiveing sins requires a sacrifece and since no one sacfices anything when they do the afrometniond things then that means they are not being forgivin and therefore your god isn't doing what you are claiming, forgiving sins.
You missed the entire point. The sacrifices of old (sheep, doves, ox and such) were practiced in place of Jesus but when Jesus came He was The Sacrifice to end all sacrifices.

not all sacrafices were used as an apesment to the gods back then. some where just offerings to natrue and the like to provide the people with food or other things not forgivness.
But what of that? As far as Christianity goes there is no need to make sacrifices anymore. But I don't know why other religions don't currently do if that has been their practice in the past.

Seems the a lot of people interested in the animals would rather see humans die. This isn't good for religion unless you run one of those churches for animals.

Some people think that humans are the only species that matter; some that animals have more value than humans. Of course, both are wrong. Why does everything have to be so complicated? lol.
middleness accomplishes stagnity and death. it keeps everything comfortable for neither going forward or backwards. First of all beliefs are a way for humans to find common ground for communication and acceptance. Yeah some people use mindless sheep to do there bidding but to trash a certian belief because you havn't thoroughly gotten it's entirenty, is like wiping you as* w/ your bare hands. It leaves a mess and it's a sh#tty way of doing things.
