What Borders?
Border Patrol told to stand down in Arizona

By Jerry Seper
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

U.S. Border Patrol agents have been ordered not to arrest illegal aliens along the section of the Arizona border where protesters patrolled last month because an increase in apprehensions there would prove the effectiveness of Minuteman volunteers, The Washington Times has learned.

A nation at war, who suffered terrorism on its own soil, leaves borders wide open even issuing stand down orders in response to citizens picking up the slack is allowing extremist Mexican groups to flood in and openly issue threats, thats cute.

No its not, and its some of the most compelling evidence that the war on terror is a sham, no country at war, especially after "foriegn" terrorist attacks would dare leave such open borders, let alone be pushing ID cards as part of a nation deconstruction to bring in a Pan American union which destroys US soveriengty and the constitution and Bill of Rights we fought so long and hard for, especially in the face of threats from extremist groups who can be likened to other ethnic hate groups.

Close the damn border already, is what I say.

There are already laws and guidelines for people to immigrate into our country and become citizens of the US.

Why are we even putting up with illegal immigrants?

Sure, create a war on drugs, targeted at one of the least dangerous drugs out there, pot, because it is illegal. But let everyone over 21 kill themselves and others by drinking beer. Go figure.

"Close the damn border already, is what I say."

Who is going to do it, the government is the one leaving it so open. I've listened to interviews of Border Patrol and they say not only were they ordered to stand down in response to the Minute Men, but they basically operate under stand down orders.

They have very strict guidelines that have them picking up trash 3+ hours a day, during which time they cannot apprehend illegals, and they have set up zones where they are not allowed to look a certain direction or apprehend any illegals outside of their designated zones.

Thats coming from Border Patrol themselves.

U.S.-trained Zetas behind wave of violence killing hundreds over drug, smuggling routes

"Hundreds have been killed in recent months in a wave of violence waged by the Zetas gang, headed by reputed drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, said Mexico's Attorney General Daniel Cabeza de Vaca. Among the victims of the U.S-trained Zetas have been other suspected smugglers, hit men, police, soldiers and civilians on both sides of the 2,000-mile border."

WASHINGTON – The ultra-violent, U.S.-trained elite, Mexican paramilitary commandos known as the "Zetas," responsible for hundreds of murders along the border this year, have expanded their enforcement efforts on behalf of a drug cartel by setting up trafficking routes in six U.S. states.

..."U.S. law enforcement have reported bounties offered by Los Zetas of between $30,000 and $50,000 for the killing of Border Patrol agents and other law enforcement officers," the bulletin said. "If a Zeta kills an American law enforcement officer and can successfully make it back to Mexico, his stature within the organization will be increased dramatically."

Former DEA Agent: Mexican Commandos Killing In South West US To Protect Bush Drug Cartel

Retired DEA Agent Celerino "Cele" Castillo III served for 12 years in the Drug Enforcement Administration where he built cases against organized drug rings in Manhattan, raided jungle cocaine labs in the amazon, conducted aerial eradication operations in Guatemala, and assembled and trained anti-narcotics units in several countries.

Cele appeared on the Alex Jones show and dropped the bombshell that los Zetas, Mexican drug commandos trained in the U.S. at the School of the Americas at Fort Benning, Georgia to be the elite "special forces" of the Mexican military are now murdering police and conducting hits all over the South West US.

US renews Mexico travel warning as killings mount
27 Jul 2005 02:15:43 GMT

Source: Reuters

MEXICO CITY, July 26 (Reuters) - The United States renewed a travel warning on Tuesday for U.S. citizens crossing the border into Mexico, noting more than 100 murders had occurred in the border region since June.

...more than 100 violent deaths have occurred along the border since June," Garza said.

...Violence in northern Mexico has soared this year, leaving at least 600 dead, after President Vicente Fox launched a "mother of all battles" on drug gangs fighting turf battles there.

...One of the worst trouble spots is Nuevo Laredo, south of Laredo, Texas, where dozens of people have been murdered this year and some 30 U.S. citizens have been kidnapped since last August.

http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N26287879.htm

Have you guys been hearing much on this?

Given the war on terror and all, one might think it important to know such violence and kidnappings of even Americans on OUR soil, and then of course perhaps some of these security measures that are everywhere else?

Na...

But London bombings are important to America and make Fox News and friends ask if it can happen here.

Oh, and this Natalie Holloway crap... ya thats important.

At least O'Reilly bitches about the borders.

Border emergency declared in New Mexico

CNN | August 13 2005

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson declared a state of emergency Friday in four counties along the Mexican border that he said have been "devastated" by crimes such as the smuggling of drugs and illegal immigrants.

The declaration said the region "has been devastated by the ravages and terror of human smuggling, drug smuggling, kidnapping, murder, destruction of property and the death of livestock. ...

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/08/12/newmexico/index.html

And guess what, not only is it worse in Texas, how much have you heard about this on the news? Past O'Reilly bitching about immagrants?

There is a war going on on our border, why isn't that important enough to be splashed on every headline of every major news outlet, at least once?

Believe it or not, and you had better wake up soon, there are people in high places systematically destroying this country, this is just part of it. And I don't mean accidently.

War on terror my ass, this is a war on freedom, and it is internal.

This is the legacy of your Bush administration.

I need some sort of remark of acknowledgement from someone in regards to this situation.

I want people to honestly ask themselves what they have heard of this on the news past large numbers of illegal immigrants and or reports of "violence".

Do you or do you not feel it a significant point that there is no mention in mainstream media of murders and kidnappings of US citizens, police, and border patrol, with deaths numbering in the HUNDREDS in Mexico and our border states?

When not a day goes by that some blonde in Aruba isn't mentioned?

Anyone? Is this thing on? Seriously...

The Secret Border Wars
Mayhem and terror in Southern states to protect government drug cartels

Paul Joseph Watson/Alex Jones | August 14 2005

While the threat of terrorists attacking the US is regularly one of the top news headlines on a daily basis, real terror that has already claimed the lives of 600 people this year is being routinely ignored or downplayed by the mainstream media.

Mexican drug commando organization los Zetas has been carrying out kidnappings of American citizens and politically motivated assassinations which have stretched from the border town of Nuevo Laredo through to Dallas, Houston and San Antonio all the way to Nashville, Tenn., and Atlanta, Ga.

If Al-Qaeda had infiltrated the US and carried out hundreds of assassinations and kidnappings including those of FBI and DEA agents as well as police chiefs, do you think the media would be interested? Of course they would and yet this very scenario is being played out with scant coverage in local newspapers and the occasional wire blurb.

A February 2005 wire report describes just two of the incidents that have claimed the lives of over a hundred people just in the last month....

Marchers say gringos,

Activists turn tables, offer no amnesty for 'non-indigenous' on 'our continent'

Mexica Movement activists protest in L.A.

WASHINGTON – While debates about guest-worker programs for illegal aliens take place in the corridors of power, in the streets of America's big cities no amnesty is being offered by activists calling for the expulsion of most U.S. citizens from their own country.

While politicians debate the fate of some 12 million people residing in the U.S. illegally, the Mexica Movement, one of the organizers of the mass protest in Los Angeles this week, has already decided it is the "non-indigenous," white, English-speaking U.S. citizens of European descent who have to leave what they call "our continent."

The pictures and captions tell the story.

"This is our continent, not yours!" exclaimed one banner.

"We are indigenous! The only owners of this continent!" said another.

"If you think I'm illegal because I'm a Mexican, learn the true history, because I'm in my homeland," read another sign.

"One of the more negative parts of the march was when American flags were passed out to make sure the marchers were looked on as part of 'America,'" said the group's commentary on the L.A. rally.

Both Rep. James Sensebrenner, R-Wis., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and a proponent of tougher border security, and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger were caricatured as Nazis by the group on its posters and banners.

The group insists the indigenous people of the continent were the victims of genocide – a campaign of extermination that killed, according to one citation, 95 percent of their population, or 33 million people. Another citation on the same website claims the toll was 70 million to 100 million.

The only solution, says the Mexica Movement, is to expel the invaders of the last 500 years, force them to pay reparations and return the continent to its rightful heirs.

The platform of the group illustrates the diverse – and sometimes extreme – agendas of those participating in the mass mobilizations that have been seen largely as protests against efforts to curb illegal immigration.

Some of those involved, including the Mexica Movement, have much bigger goals than stopping a piece of legislation before Congress.

The Mexica Movement has big issues with many other equally radical groups participating in the massive, united-front rallies. The group makes a point of distinguishing its goals and objectives from others, such as the separatist Aztlan Movement.

Aztlan, the mythical birthplace of the Aztecs, is regarded in Chicano folklore as an area that includes California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas. The movement seeks to create a sovereign, Spanish-speaking state, "Republica del Norte," or the Republic of the North, that would combine the American Southwest with the northern Mexican states and eventually merge with Mexico.

A group called "La Voz de Aztlan," the Voice of Aztlan, identifies Mexicans in the U.S. as "America's Palestinians." Many Mexicans see themselves as part of a transnational ethnic group known as "La Raza," the race. A May editorial on the website, with a dateline of Los Angeles, Alta California, declares that "both La Raza and the Palestinians have been displaced by invaders that have utilized military means to conquer and occupy our territories."

Others in the coalition hope to see a "reconquest" of the American southwest by Mexico. This would not likely take place through military action, they say, but rather through a slow process of migration – both legal and illegal.
