Arming & Aiding Nutjobs & Dictators
Why are we allowed to give guns, bombs, WMD's, money, intelligence, sanctuary from war crimes, etc. to all these, well, war criminals?

Oh look, a war is starting between two crazy people or just inflamed fundamentalist or civil wars from dictatorial rule, lets sell them all guns!?!?!?!?!

Where the fuck did this brilliant idea come from? Oh, from our own war criminals in power past and present, and of course the same acts from our allies.

And we wonder what is wrong with the world, why there is terrorism. Opression breeds War and War breeds Opression or genocide.

Freedom and liberty aren't the problem, corruption and secrecy is the problem.

The idea that we need to sell guns to people getting ready to or in the middle of killing people is stupid and I'm pretty sure illegal. You may argue that we need to arm a defending country from an invading power, and this warrants consideration, however, if it is truley an emergency and a valid defense, which such politics gets muddy very quickly, not to mention purposefully spun, than the free world would or should jointly intervene. Besides the problem is that we and many allies and non often aid both sides of a conflict specifically in armaments. This is highly problematic, illegal, and rampant due to blatant corruption.

Regardless of any previous policies and politics, currently we have a list of countries we call aids to terrorism, and we aid many of them, this is a problem.

Through the CIA and agencies like it we aid military coups of democratically elected Sovereign government leaders which are generally replaced with brutal dictators, this is a problem.

Then we often aid, arm, fund, these dictators in general (apparently often for the purpose of CIA drug trafficking I hear so much yet so little about, even from claimed inside sources).

Then we generally turn around and go after these dictators we do so much supporting of.

Its insane really. But abuse of governmental secrecy knows no limits. And all they have to do is lie or tell partial truths, and everything is all better.

We have hired Nazis to spy on russia, aided Saddam against Iran, while apparently aiding Iran too. We have a CIA asset in Osama, who we aided trained etc against Russia, and there are these stories with just about if not all conflicts we've been involved in possibly ever.

From documented staged terror attacks of our own and others, to blaming political opponents and claiming pretexts for war and tyranny. And why? Money and power of course (where its important to realize that power also means control).

History is just as important as your teachers always said it was.

We can't settle for ideological answer to the why and how's of our military involvements.

And do yourself a favor and stop allowing yourself to be censored from the realities of war, images should be splattered daily of the reality of war, our soldiers have to see it, the innocent victims and countrymen have to see it, why not the only people that can have a say in the matter, because you wouldn't allow it that's why, you would not allow war if you had to be subjected to its realities.

And don't let the importance of what I just said escape you, WE are the body of people who decide if

We are allowing torture by our own people again, I'm sure we never stopped, but now its becoming legal again.

We kill innocents and allies on a daily basis. Do you have any idea how many people die from "friendly fire"?

I forgot to mention hiring them, including convicted felons and war criminals.

Besides hiring Nazis, Mob, Terrorists, Dictators, etc. some of these beauties are simply recycled garbage.

Now, even if some of these guys were patsies it still baffles me that they can get away with rehiring them after convicting them or treasonous felonies.

This briefly goes over a presidential feeling of an important individual who recently ran DARPA, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or Darpa, a research arm of the Pentagon for Counterterrorism.

The past the questioner was speaking of isn't really covered in this next piece that speaks of why he doesn't work for us anymore

Betting on terrorist attacks and coups for money rewards? Thats odd and probably criminal and all that but the funny part of this whole story is what nobody yet mentions.

This guy, who was "engulfed in troubles nearly two decades ago in the Iran-contra scandal" was actually CONVICTED of FIVE OF SEVEN FELONIES in that scandal. Drugs and guns that also created the crack epidemic and all that. Not that anyone cares but conspiracy nuts.

Here's the charges, convictions and "punishment".

Convicted Felon
Mr. Poindexter was indicted on March 16, 1988 on seven federal felony charges stemming from the Iran-Contra scandal. The counts included participating in a criminal conspiracy with Colonel Oliver North, Air Force Maj. Gen. Richard V. Secord (Ret.) and Albert Hakim; conspiring to obstruct official inquiries and proceedings; two counts of obstructing Congress; and two counts of false statements to Congress. He was prosecuted by Associate Counsel Dan K. Webb, Christian J. Mixter, Howard M. Pearl and Louise R. Radin, all working in tandem.

Poindexter was convicted of all five counts on April 7, 1990. Mr. Poindexter was convicted of criminal conspiracy with Colonel Oliver North, Air Force Maj. Gen. Richard V. Secord (Ret.) and Albert Hakim (obstruction of congressional inquiries and proceedings, false statements, falsification, destruction and removal of documents); two counts of obstruction of Congress and two counts of false statements.

US District Judge Harold H. Greene sentenced Poindexter to six months in prison on each count, served concurrently. On November 15, 1991, a three judge appeals panel overturned Poindexter's convictions on the grounds that his testimony before Congress -- which was given under immunity -- may have influenced the testimony of witnesses against him. The US Government appealed the overturning of his conviction to the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Court declined to hear the case.

" criminal conspiracy"

Whats the differnce between a conspiracy theory and a conspiracy fact? Convictions? No,.......... knowledge, information, classified, burned shredded secrets. Truth.

A small list of more recent cases of scandal and conspiracy from within, but none of this is reason enough to think bad things could be afoot right now, right? Even though many who would have been involved in much of this are working in our government still or again today.

Anyone else ever wonder where multiple unconnected poor rebels and even the groups with acclaimed financeers, where are all of these people getting all of the weapons, supplies, and RE-SUPPLIES that enable them to battle us for years on end?

We can't even afford this?

We can't even stop the flow of weapons and AMMO? Weapons are useless without it and it depleats very rapidly.

People, this shit doesn't add up, ok. We need to talk to friends and neighbors, who will be defensive but lack good information, our media isn't the answer right now.

The point is there is serious shit going on and not enough of us are talking about it.

Hmmm, come to think of it, maybe this is a good thing, did you know how many Dictators and their armies have graduation certificates for the school of the americas, which I think may have changed its name, but is basically a terrorist training school in america.

Ya, apparently I seriously needed to add 'Hiring' to the title of this thread.

Apparently it is true about ex Nazi Stasi Head Markus Wolfe, who was denied a visa in 96' to America for being deemed a terrorist, along with now an ex head of KGB General Yevgeni Primakov, (all our brave dead vets are just spinning in their graves) have both been hired to help run Homeland Security.

Are you worried, does it bother you? IT FUCKING SHOULD!

It seems to that when the USA has a goal they will do anything to acheive it no matter what that entails whether it is stepping on someone, some country or doing some dirty work behind the scenes. These goals may be miltaristic, political or ecenomic in nature. And it seems a lot of these things do come back to bite the US in the ass some time later- case in point Saddam as was mentioned previously.
I feel this all comes down to responsibility and accountability primarily from the US public. Unfortunatly though as a ll good politicians know the populous is very apathetic and has a very short term memory. As long as people have jobs, roads to drive on, malls to shop in and a decent selection of donuts at the bakery they will be happy and will put up with a whole lot of BS as long as it is done well before election time. Aside from that no other country has any power to do anything aside from the odd leader making some speach about what was done was wrong- and these issues dont stay in the press for long which really has a grip on the collective mentallity of US citizens.
I think it all comes down to what it takes to outrage people into action and the reliance of mass media for information that is preceived to be impartial- but of course many of us know better that the media has its own agenda
Are people worried or bothered? I would have to say no - unfortunatly we are wrapped up in our own world with no cares about what goes on in the larger scale of things and besides if things get bad there are always more goons for hire to set things right....

Some say that is exactly why the borders are left so wide open in a time of such fear of "terrorism", because foreigners are more likely to shoot Americans than any American police or military, as well as criminals.

With taking guns away from citizens, barring information of all kinds especially illegal activities (which would spark a revolt), utilizing foreign and criminal elements for law enforcement (not to be judgemental or racist), we see the common pattern of time honored despotic tyranny in motion. Along with of course the taking of liberties in exchange for claims of security, many forefathers were very clear in mentioning that anyone who gives up their liberties neither can nor deserves to be free or protected.

I've posted this film elsewhere but I'm putting it in again because it is so important to know our role and know we have been warned of this for years and years.

DESPOTISM
Made in 1946, this documentary measures how a society ranks on a spectrum stretching from democracy to despotism. Explains how societies and nations can be measured by the degree that power is concentrated and respect for the individual is restricted. A very, VERY timely bit of film. Hardly dated. It could be remade today with a spotlight on politicians who push privatization/globalization. (9:56min)

Mexican Drug Commandos

They were the elite "special forces" of the Mexican military, trained in the U.S. at the School of the Americas at Fort Benning, Georgia and sent to "wipe out" one of the most powerful Mexican drug cartels.

But these soldiers deserted and became the muscle for the very cartel they were supposed to destroy.

According to this Department of Justice "Intelligence Bulletin" obtained by the 5i-Team, these rogue commandos now known as "Los Zetas" may be heading our way.

Good thing we aren't protecting our borders or caring that we train these people, or Al-Qaeda, Osama, Saddam, Noriega, etc. etc. ad naseum. Let alone stopping or punishing those responsible for their aid and training.

Mexico like other central & south american nations don't take the usa view toward pot. It was our intervention to promote our values upon these people to begin with so what do you expect.
