ok - what do you do? a superior goes above and beyond the call of duty to lend a helping hand - (doesn't really know me VERY well). trying to figure out why this person is such a fan.

i am a grad school student and this is about a grad school prof. there has been absolutely no improper behavior whatsoever. however, the attention is overwhelming.

Not every attraction is physical or sexual maybe he is just looking to catch your eye. Or maybe, he is just a nice person who enjoys helping people out?

hmm... interesting. i have yet to meet a person who would just want to go out on a limb professionally for a person they did not know very well. i would presume that they had spent a lifetime trying to get there... would they risk that on someone just to be nice? i guess in an ideal world this could be possible.
