I never knew arnold was partially gay.

I got into bodybuilding because it was all about self image for me, back in the day i used to be the weak kid in the gym, the guy who could barely bench the bar. Now i look back at all the progress ive made in my strength, and size, and i feel pretty good.

you might me wrong on that thread analytical. Sleep eats away muscle when you dont eat alot. If u only eat a slice of bread for the whole day then of course your body is going to use your fat and your muscle to get energy while you sleep. But i eat 6 meals a day, each with 30 grams of protien, and my calorie intake is 2300(i burn off my calories in weightlifting and cardio). I usually get up around 5 in the morning now, and i begin my workout routine very early in the morning. Ever since i started dieting, and weightlifting ive gotten nearer my dream of becoming a body builder. Just in the last 6 months my pectorial muscles have increased a whole lot in size, and my arms have gotten huge. My upper body is proportional with my lower body, and i have a tight midsection complete with shredded abdominals, and obliques.

Im gonna try and get a scanner so i can post a picture of my body on here, i wanna know what your opinion is about my new body

Jimmyk... dude muscles or no muscles.... be what you wanna be..if big makes ya happy then by all means go for it..just beware that you are probably gonna get the short skirt wearing brainless bimbo (generalization) but if that is also what you want then KUDOS....

Well, you can have the body, but it doesn't mean you have the face, if you know what I mean--oh, and I'm not talking about you in particulay JimmyK, just so you know, I mean, like in general. Just don't build to the extent it gets disgusting with the whole vien popping out and everything. Then again, it's up to you.

Oh, and about the comment about the brainless bimbo, say what if the girls are really smarter then they seem? The reason why people show off their bodies at competitions is because they feel a need for attention and glory, which girls provide, so they can use the guys in which way they want, however they want, because it's just not as fun without the girls.

yes...each one to his/her own. But the thing is, what we chose to do will always be scrutinized and criticised and dissected and used against you, whether you like it or not and whether it's right or not.

Well i respect jims admiration and respect for body building. I started training when i was around 15 years old, and yes it is true that body building requires alot of self-involvement. But u get so much out of it: you boost your self-confidence, your sex drive, your sex appeal, your strength, people tend to like you more, and u feel alot happier, and healthier, your life expectancy also increases a whole lot!, i can go on for pages on the health benefits that body building gives you.

I'd just like to thank jim for keeping up the tradition of body building.
