shit always gets thrown at shows like that......it doesnt mean the band sucks.......people are just stupid
from what i've heard MCR is fucking dead on live......i dont know, but i'm determind to find out for myself.....from listening to their albums they're one ofthe best bands around

This is just my opinion and my opinions have never been consistant... but i have to say that 90% of recently released music is crap. It dissappoints me to see songwriters who were previously actors/actresses/pro wrestlers/novelists/siblings of other famous people. It seems to be a last resort. I am a big fan of good lyrics to complment good music. Lately, its been cliched overused and predictable lyrics. So I am searching through my radio for all sorts of new stuff, which is usually not new at all. Classical, chamber music and jazz never seem to dissappoint me.

85% of music made nowadays is relevent because of WHO made it rather than what it is. 99% of pop is like this.

And most people don't realize that when they defend or claim to like popular rap, r&b, punk, along with a lot of other really popular music it isn't because they actually like the melody or lyrics, but that the melody along with the lyrics and artist are "cool".

And in an effort to be cool (rebellious, pimpin, slutty, hardcore) they want to associate themselves to this cool music.

IMHO, 90% of recent music (last 1-3 years) sucks ass. Most of it isn't even written or choreographed by the artists themselves, so it's manufactured SHIT. And 99% of rap sucks, even if the artist writes the lyrics, because well... the lyrics are pointless and shitty.

Eminem is a good example of a guy who, although does not write very interesting lyrics, is trying to express something creative and new, just like the old school rappers.
