Like Bryan Singer said, with the lighting and motif they are working with, it probably fits better.

After seeing the color schemes and some of the lighting styles and general look, architecture etc., I probably agree.

I love the rusty golds and coppers I've seen in city settings, and that burnt out looking fortress of solitude.

There is a deep moodiness to the lighting that reminisces some of the old Supes movies, 80's classic movie grain, and then just a newer even moodier addition.

I've been very pleased with the snippets of film and how things are looking.

I'll wait to pass judgement on how well the actor fits, as well as the darker red, once I get to see more.

Kevin Spacey almost looks like a skinny Gene Hackmen. im so used to Micheal Rosenbaum as Lex now though, but i have yet to see Spacey in a bad role... i think it all seems a bit strange right now, but once everything is pieced together it will be great.

I think it may be that who ever is in charge of hair may need to be shot.

Kate Bosworth looks alright, its just that hair, and though Brandon may not quite fully fill even Clarks shoes, he looks decent, except for that hair. Even the kid's hair is jacked up. Cyclops looks normal, but still a little off.

I love Batman. Any super hero that doesn't need powers creates a more realistic experience. Also, the viewer/reader can relate more. His car's great, his costume's great, the villians in the series are all complex and extremely enjoyable. The best Batman movie: Batman Begins.

got to see this during Smallville earlier. it barely shows anything. i hope the whole movie isnt that dark. it does look cool though, more edgy than the old superman... which is good and bad.
