moby, i was vague on purpose, simply to see where it would take people. perhaps i was wrong in doing so, but had i been more specfic you may not have even posted here...? also its very difficult to put into words this "void" im speaking of. wes, you are correct, i see people trying to get satisfaction in all the wrong places... that was my main point to begin with, but i guess it sorta got lost in my ranting sorry about that!
I have thought about it greatly many years ago. I believe it is your other half. I think the bible explains it when Adam was put to sleep, a rib was removed from him to make a woman. That is why women fulfil our life. they might not need us, but we need them and are not complete without them. At least that's the way I figured it. Now my wife is a school teacher and she says that men and women have the same amount of ribs. Another example of how the bible is not factual yet it is able to teach us.

When I was a truck driver you would have teams, they could haul loads further faster legally. A lot of teams are made up of gay or lesbian couples. You would watch them in the truck stops. One is always feminine and one is always masculine.

Void... yeah, sure, I've felt it. yet it isn't the void, per se. It's called yearning. An emptiness that you know can be filled by having that very something. The void must be a yearning for some unidentifiable thing, huh?
