The value of a man
I thought of this proverb years ago and I thought I'd share it here to see what you people think. I never heard anyone else say this so I'm sure I didn't get it from someone else and then forget where I got it from. I even tried looking it up on the internet and I found nothing. I don't like the idea of stealing other people's ideas and especially quotes, so I wanted to be sure, since I honestly can't remember when I thought of this. Now with all the build up you'll probably be disappointed, but I think it's pretty good.

The value of a man can be measured in the amount of power it takes to corrupt him.

I like to think of it as taking the old saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely" to it's next logical step.

So "value" is some form of idealistic measure?
