Would Anarchy mean chaos?
If we were an anarchist society
would society crumble?

Is there a way to perfect
an anarchist system?

Could we really rely on the people and
the people alone to run our society?

I know there is a small settlement
that is an anarchist society and
has a surprisingly low crime rate.
Could this really work?

Well in Anarchism, the focus is on the largest, bottom most levels. It starts with families, or tribes, and works up to neighborhoods, districts, then towns and so forth.

In that way, the people are actually representing themselves.

So I think that Anarchism could actually work.

I'd like top think he could but I'm
sure there will be at least one person
striving for power and then try to take over
control and turn anarchism into dictatorship

In my opinion, in this type of society, it wouldnt work but if the human race was naturally a more peaceful and less greedy race it could work.

The one big problem with it is that someone will eventually get greedy and so power-hungry that they will resort to extreme actions and it will all fall apart.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
If people can lose their love for
themselves and their greedy, power-hungry
nature then it could.

I kind of agree with XFreeGlowStickx... The human race is not yet smart enough to handle anarchy, although given time it may become smart enough yet...

Also, one thought on anarchy... If we agreed to have anarchy, we would need to enforce it in some way to keep it, which conflicts with one idea of having anarchy in the first place.

Personally, it may be best to consider a happy medium between democracy and anarchy, where perhaps more freedom is granted than is now present... But no one should be realistically disadvantaged as a result.

I agree with everyone to an extent. I don't think We're ready yet
but I do think it is one of the most equal ways a society is run.

I think the only enforcement necessary would be a police system
to prevent murders maybe, and if people will become content with
no government and just follow the way anarchy should be run
we won't even need them.
