Don't you think that these games are desensitizing us? As time goes on, games get more violent. Remember games 10 years ago? Pac-man, tetris. Now we have options of what color blood we want spewing out of the body of the mercenary we killed with one of our 16 choices of weapons.

Ok but before jumping to conclusions take a look at the evidence. With games getting progressively more violent we have a progressive decline of crime. Also take a look at history. We as humans have always had a violent nature and horrible violent things occurred long before video games. Just take a look at the middle ages.

Personally though I prefer the classic video games. Not because there's no killing but because there simple yet challenging. Although there is few buttons the challenges in the game are significant. Take for instance super mario 3.

It's all do to the fact that people are getting caught more often. As women become more independent more and more rape crimes get reported and more get convicted.

Theft increases as a result of a larger split between the poor and the rich.

To say this involves video games leaves me puzzled

Well the question of the future is tuff but can be predicted using probability and reasoning. Everyone reacts differently to video games so to predict it would be impossible.
