I'm sorry pupa, I find myself unable to interpret your post in just one way.

When you say "Don't sell other people through you, just sell yourself" do you mean that I shouldn't be taking on other peoples ideas and kind of 'selling' them, like Ken Robinson's? Or do you mean that in life generally, I shouldn't try to be someone that I'm not?

Also, in the first bit that says "while you know what you want to be, so why don't you be it?" are you using the word 'you' in a general way directed at everyone or is that a direct communication towards me?

As for this bit, I couldn't agree with you more pupa. All you need is courage and determination....and the nerve to be optimistic in the face of adversity.

Ah okay.

I wonder what the world would be like if we were all able to build up a great sense of our interests and natural abilities as children (because that has certainly not been the case for me), to be exactly who we truly are, and have employments that correspond to that. I wonder exactly how much healthier we'd all be mentally and physically, what kind of social impact it would have.

My guess is that it would make quite a difference in the world, for the better.

But I still wonder how many people strive for it, or have given up on it, or have even already attained it.

Anyone out there?

I have never come across some one who said they are fulfilled.

People dashing around trying to get some where and once they are there they want to move on a bit later.

Alot of people are driven by their focus of being some where better, so they can impress their peers and end up forgetting about the needs of the bodies they inhabit.

Plants and animals are more content.

Plants and animals purposes are very different than humans. To them it is survival. For humans there is survival plus ????. I don't know i guess its to you to fill in the gap. My life ???? is what interests me. What I enjoy doing!
