that i woke up to you

i layed flinching hands on you

on that forever so long hour after school

all my tears that never shed
pushed out the ones that wet your sleeves
as you whiped them frommy dripping brow
and wispered me that (soothing voice)

how long ago was it i told you
my love for you would ever last

id die for you and ive tried for you
ill never let you by me pass

so long ago my forever stands
as the sun once did from east to west

and tonight its been so long since then
and forever it seems ive had no rest

but you only called my name just this morning

with swords held high
to turn away gaurds arms
which fall with arms diminished
of their will and strength

permeating the cobble stone streets
as a ghost from the past
each step as repetitive as the last
marking a scant profit

reaching a stair
which begat a thousand
he would step upon it first
and then its sons
bearing his sharp encumbrance
for not its weight in the world
its destiny contrasting its length
would reach a king
upon a chair
upon the step
at the cloaked form's end

gaze soft and cold
the blind king stairs up into the comers face
with dagger in hand
lunged into royal neck
the two embrace with one a gape

slowly withdrawling his burden
to step slowly down from perch so high
collapsing with a deed not done
he sets himself to gaze as the king does
loss of will awaiting death
which never comes
for a pain thats not lossed
and the ruler lives on
in this gray little world
where every ones face is mine

her hair is like silk woven by a thousand skilled hands
her face looks like it was that of an angels dream
her eyes seem like a mystery from ancient times
her lips are hushed and hidden like a secret waiting to be found out

slowly dripping from overcast skys
along this long road i walk
slowly dragging my innocent self along
time passes by for this visitor to life

muddy puddles arent always so bad
drops resonate off the pavement
dancing upon the instant of the grey surface
little pixies of rhyme dropping a slow beat
of my hearts inner blues

we all get our chance to roll our di
it gets the chance to play every role

soaking my brow, my dripping hair
hangs over my soaked eyes
teasing to hide my mouth
as a little smirk spreads acrosses it
like the drizzle acrossed the ground

rain drops are falling on my head
either a bounce in my step
or sulk in my shoulders
sitting on curb sides
slowly inhaling the comforts of mist
not so much a blanket
wrapped warmly around a child
more to a pallid world
acknowledging the lifes we share
it reminds me how its all comming down

shes a prism rose
like dew drop days
burning in my heart
an eternal blaze
her feelings in the air
