People are not happy. That is a completely unfounded statement. If people were happy they would not subscribe to the social vices that plague western society: alcohol, cigarettes, television, perfume, clothes, makeup etc. There are a thousand different vices that earn billions of dollars a year proving that the "simple" people are constantly seeking an escape from the drudgery of their "simple" lives. Just because they state that they are happy, their actions proclaim that they are desperately seeking escape. Why would you escape if you were happy? the whole point of someone who is unhappy right now and accepts that is that they see the illogic in subscribing to the forms of escape "simple" people do. It is ridiculous to feel satisfied working 5 days a week then spending all your money on alcohol for the weekend. Yet this is the normal trend of things for millions of people. Even if it's not alcohol, it's television, church, or some other vice that helps them forget their own lives. What if you dont want to forget? What if you want to live in complete knowledge of you rlife, your day to day activiteis, and be happy? That seems simple, yet those who seek that seem "abnormal" and "complicated". The "simple" people are the most complicated people on the planet since they have no idea who they are when they look in the mirror. They identify themselves with the groups they belong to and the materialistic objects they posess... not the mind and soul within them. "Who are you?" is a question 99% of the populace would cringe at.
"Hating everyone protects me from elitism."
