If chance is unknown and unpredictable how then do we know it follows rules?

Definition of fate

a.The supposed force, principle, or power that predetermines events.
b.The inevitable events predestined by this force.
2.A final result or consequence; an outcome.
3.Unfavorable destiny; doom.

Fate as predetermination makes more sense. Example, I drop a rock off a roof; fate tells me that rock will fall because that is a predetermined outcome of dropping something. If left to chance what guarantee do we have that the rock would fall fall? It might go left and then back up because chance is unpredictable.

LIKE YOU CLAIMED EARLIER THAT CHANCE WOULD INDICATE THE POSSIBILITY OF DYING THEN LIVING OR DYING WITHOUT LIFE, AND SO ON. AND LIKE I HAVE STATED BEFORE, CHANCE MUST RESULT WITHIN REASON.

YOURE PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH. IT DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION, BUT FOR EXAMPLE, ITS COMMON SENSE THE ROCK WILL NOT GO LEFT AND UP AGAIN.

NO, ITS COMMON SENSE BECAUSE OF EXPERIENCE WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FATE.

Experience has everything to do with fate and nothing to do with chance. Consider the definitions of fate;
1.a.The supposed force, principle, or power that predetermines events.
b.the inevitable events predestined by this force.
2.A final result or consequence; an outcome.

Experience tells us that this rock will have a certain fate (or outcome) if dropped. Chance cannot relate to experience because chance is unpredictable and we do not know it will respond in kind every time whereas predetermination is constant; every time you drop the rock it will see the same fate.

IF FATE MEANS OUTCOME. DOES THIS MEAN CHANCE CANT HAVE AN OUTCOME?

Chance has an outcome that is fate. Like I said earlier;There is never a chance that no outcome will occur and confining chance to reason is giving it the same conditions as fate because fate is a consequence to an action.

IF FATE IS CONSEQUENCE TO ACTION, THEN ITS NOT PREDETERMINED. IF ITS UP TO A CERTAIN ACTION TO OUTCOME A CERTAIN FATE. IT LOSES ITS ORIGINAL MEANING.
