Good point - I've brought this up to pastors and teachers in the past and they are silent without an answer.
Enoch never died - it says that he was so righteous that God took him. I had one pastor tell me that Enoch died, but I pointed out that in the geneoly everybody dies except Enoch who it says was taken. The pastor says, well he went to heaven, so I said, wait a minute, I thought nobody was supposed to go to heaven until the death of Jesus, he just looked disgusted and wouldn't answer the question.
But there are some teachings that say that Jesus was Enoch.
