400cu nice...have a friend that owns a 69 bird he put the 455 in, screams...
My Chevy truck is a hella've a setup, I replaced the old "three on the tree" w/ a 727 auto-torqueflight, the straight six with a "Canadian" 318 MOPAR engine, and added a turbocharger from a Buick grand national...besides a few kinks worked out great. Got a few scanned photo's.
So, what have you done to your 'bird so far?

Ok i'm new to the board, so this is a little late being posted, my daily driver is a 92 ext. cab pickup. My baby is a '69 Z/28 Camaro, that i'm currently working on. And her sister car '69 SS Camaro.

As you read I have a 68 Firebird with a 400. It is coming out of the bodyshop tomorrow with a fresh paint job.

So far the engine is stock, mostly bodywork is what I have done to it. Maybee in 2 years I will be supercharging it. Look out vipers there's a real muscle car on the prowl!

My '61 Chevy isn't stock, but its not a street racer either.
My real toy is my '67 Cuda. I have a 383 BB w/ a aluminum manifold dual four setup. I haven't done anything with the body yet, but have big plans...too bad I'm not wealthy..lol!

Well I got my car back from the bodyshop the other day.

Overall it isnt that bad , not quite what I was expecting (the color).

I am working on the interior right now and hope to be driving it in about 2 weeks now

well the sample of the coor the shop gave me was on a white piece of paper, so it looked ALOT darker. And that is what I wanted. When the car was painted it wasnt even close to what I thought it was gonna be...

on a diffrent note, I broke the crankshaft on my S15 so it is toast! Now I have a 85 buick skyhawk.

Daily drivers, always have to be fixed, thats the trouble...I just got my 88 Thunderchicken back running, two bad fuel pumps in a row *arrggg*, freakin FORDS.

I have one too, but I also work on ALOT of them and they are generally crap.
The engineers come from a crackerjack box.
