Regarding the Flat Earth Society: There are many people that believe a whole lot of things. This does not in itself make them right.

The blind man analogy: A partial fact does not limit the whole from being true. Therefore you could have many partial facts. 2 is an even number; 2 plus 2 equals four. Both are correct. Neither invalidates the other. Since both are true, both statements are then fact.

There are innumerable truths, only some of which we know.

BTW: The Flat Earth Society is a real hoot. Per their wiki, as all of these claims are necessary to have a flat earth given the evidence:
-All space travel is a hoax.
-Half sunken ships are raised by looking at them through telescopes.
-The edge of the earth is Antarctica.
-The sun travels in a circle above the earth plane.
-The bottom of clouds are flat.
I am not willing to say any of these are facts, truths, or proposes a reasonably accurate hypothesis.

Their FAQ page clearly states that The Flat Earth Society is not a joke. They are wrong about that too.

I believe a "fact " is simply something we perceive as a truth, because no matter, for example, how much we study something, like a tree for example just because it doesnt move doesnt mean it cant. Therefore we perceive the truth that they Can't move, when in all actuality we would never know because we could not possibly know if a tree could choose to move or not. but we fool ourselves into believing that just because we have never seen it done means it cant happen therefore we perceive it as a fact. i hope that made sense to everyone else
