-Zdzisław Beksiński was a Polish artist born 24 February 1929 and he died on 21 February 2005.
-His art is categorized as fantastic realism.
-He had no formal training as an artist.
I like what I've seen of his art (mainly the paintings) - they are thick, as though there is a story or another world within the picture. And there's a darkness in his work that is appealing.
I also admire detailed art.
