Kiwi! - Short Animated Film |
For those of you who may have never heard of Kiwis before, a Kiwi is a small flightless bird native to New Zealand. I suppose I have an affinity towards this clip because I went to primary school in NZ and although you don't see them just walking around - because they are usually nocturnal and live in forests - we used to learn about kiwis in school and also about native Maori stories relating to them.
I feel like I have a soft spot for kiwi birds. They aren't pretty like other birds, they don't have wings, they rummage their long beaks into the ground to get food and they seem really timid.
