Religion: where would we be without it...
Throughout history religion has been the cause of many wars, genocides, repression and segregation.
Would the world be a more peaceful place now without it?
would we have just found something else to fight about?
How would history be different?
I would like to hear any ideas.

it is not religion that caused it it is the very basic function of a human that caused the wars, by that i mean the function that we have to believe in order to see, and no i am not getting that backwards i am saying it in that way because it is true. so they believed in there religion and they did whatever to still see what they believe and not to be proven wrong.

do this read, go ahead i know you want to.

just kidding, but do read this it tells you more about this.

I agree with james a little. Even without religion things would most likely still have happened. Most of the wars were fought over land money power women or just the fame of winning. nd the crusades as are no different. Even though religion was used they were really jus fighting for land. As far as segregation is concerned, money and social standing divided people who practiced the same religion.
