One of the best rock songs to come out of the 90's. My favorite band as a kid, and as an adult I now know why. I've been learning a lot lately about how my childhood affects me as an adult. All very positive.
This song fuckin rocks. Its a sort of anthem of mine it feels like lol. Only cause I've been rockin out to it for 12 years.
"Why cry for those that often cry? Instead, help them smile, and smile for those that smile."
I just did a check on this songs lyrics and for some reason, all of the copies of it have some incorrect lines (I'm pretty sure), which actually really gets on my nerves, so I'm just going to post the correct ones here in order to have some piece of mind.
I saw it coming I just thought that you should know I'm feeling better every day I'm only waiting if you stay So don't feel bad Your faith was an illusion And you're as loyal as your faith Will let you be
Your expectation It's not hard to live without I'm feeling better every day And emptiness still leaves a space So don't feel bad Realize all your emotion And may you find all your relations Will keep you free
A careless word is complicated And emptiness still leaves a space
I've been listening to Wang Chung over and over for the last few days. This morning was the first time I'd ever watched this video and I quite like it... it reminds me of why I dislike watching music videos from this past decade. In this music video, for example, you see way more of who the musician actually is than music videos from nowadays where even though the musician is insecure, they have so much cosmetic technology to gloss over that and make them appear something that they really are not.
But all that aside, I still quite like this video on its own, I like the way the guys are singing in it, I like the folded paper dancing outfit on the girl, I like the way the brown haired singer (Nick Feldman), (I like the way the lead is too but I was more taken by Nick in this one), I like the symbols and the way they're pretend strumming their guitars
