The Frog and the Scorpion

A scorpion came to a river one day, and was greeted by a frog. The scorpion says, 'I need to get to the other side.' The frog kindly replies, 'I can get you across, hop on my back and I will swim you over.

The scorpion does so and on the other side the scorpion asks, 'why would you do that for me?' replying honestly the frog states, 'its in my nature.'

With that the scorpion stings the frog. Now helpless and able to speak few words before the poison kills him he asks, 'why would you do that? I helped you...'

The scorpion replies, 'It's in my nature.'

My opinion, the scorpion is smart but small minded. Should he be hungry, he can now go to the river and find a frog.
This is how I've seen republicans act and think.

The frog went out of his way to help, risked and lost his life to support a stranger. Had the frog befriended the scorpion they could have helped each other. The frog could act as bait for lager creatures, and the scorpion could sting the pray and have a feast. All the while all the frogs could eat the flies the meat attracts.
To me, this is how democrats tend to act and think.

What about you?
