i wrote this freshman year and i open it last week and it made laugh i was just wondering what others thought about it
Same shit different day
That is my life I get up and put on the same old things
I get in my car and drive to the same places
I walk in a stupefied daze, moving like cattle at the sound of a bell
I eat the same lunch everyday
I see the same thing too
The weak being preyed upon
Those who are different being persecuted for their individualistic ways
The same old people follow their lemming ways
It is only a blur in time and I’m one of the few who watch it pass by
It saddens me that some take these four years as the best they will have
These years will never make the man
Only the weak and ignorant believe in this
But this town makes a lot of these people
That is why I want to fly the coup with the one I love
Take this small town and shatter its ideals like a plane of glass
I will make peace with this empty town
