Most And Least Favourite Musical Artists [+ favourites]

This isn't like the "Best Band" thread, where there it was (most likely) limited to bands.

Who are your favourite and least favourite singers OR bands ever to hit the music industry? (I am doing this just for curiosity).

You can also give reasons why.

Most Favourite - Sean Paul. His music was the first in my reggae collection, and since then, I have expaned to more than 100 reggae artists.

Least Favourite - Akon. At my Gr. 8 Valentine's Dance, they played two straight hours of him, with three of his slow songs. Everybody had a date except for me.

Was akon even around when you were what? 14? That was more than 10 years ago. I thought he was a more recent artist.

"I try my best to be just like I am but everybody wants you to be just like them."

My favorite artist to date would have to be Lupe fiasco. This is because his lyrics are meaningful and have a purpose. He also does not use vulgar lyrics unless they necessary. For rap and hip hop that is rare. I am just drawn to his music because he raps about life.
My least favorite artist would have to be Britney spears. First of all her music is terrible. Secondly she is a horrible role model and has no purpose in life. She really just needs to clean up and get out of the media’s eye.
