what do you guys think about chat rooms? do you think that they are rooms for sad people, that its a dangerous place, haven for sickos, room just to chill and meet people? what do you think?

Depends on the type of chat room. If you find a good one that involves intellectual discussion it is good. Some are just pick up points these days. I don't do chat these days, but I did when I was 12 a lot.

I mean you can do it out of bordem, curosity, lonelyness, entertainment, ect.
So you can't really group everyone that goes in a chat room as to 1 purpose.

There are chat rooms out there with one purpose on other forums.

I think at chat rooms can be a good thing but I also think a lot of sick people use them to mislead and take advantage of people. I persona don’t use chat rooms any more, but I obviously find forums of a intellectual conversation such as this one interesting and well worth my time.

Well im a bit of a chat room addict, im pretty normal, im not sick, i like intelligant conversation, i just love to meet people from all over the world, i cant talk to someone from america normally, i love it. Yeah there are sick people, ive talked to a few, ive asked them questions just to understand them a bit, but then again who defines what as sick.
