Any Book Suggestions? [+ favourites]

Hey everyone, it's been a while. I was wondering if anyone had any favorite books they could suggest to me. Or maybe a site that has lists of suggested readings?

If not, what is your favorite book and waht is it about?

My all time favorite Author is Nocolas Sparks. He's the author of Message in a Bottle, the Notebook, and A Wak to Remember (Just to name a few.) Another great book is The Five People You Meet in Heaven.

Do a random library search. I found some neat books that way.

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles (Japanese author whose name I can't remember). Long crazy book.

The Pigeon (John Suskind). Quick read. Meant for rainy days.

Dante's Inferno, the novel (Sarah Lovett). Suspense, thriller, mystery. Had my heart pounding.

Slaughterhouse Five (Kurt Vonnegut). A classic. Got symbolism, irony, humor and all.

Hmmm. while we're recommending Orson Scott Card books, read all the ender books (and bean books)

Bean books-
-Ender's Shadow
-Shadow of the Hegemon
-Shadow Puppets
-Shadow of the Giant

Ender books-

-Ender's Game
-Speaker for the Dead
-Xenocide
-Children of the Mind

I recommend reading them in this order

-Ender's Game
-Ender's Shadow
-Shadow of the Hegemon
-Shadow Puppets
-Shadow of the Giant
-Speaker for the Dead
-Xenocide
-Children of the Mind

But thats just me

Also, theres this great book called Dykstra's War, but I forgot who the author was. James something or another
