Definition of Cool

Definition of Cool [+ favourites]

I was talking to a friend of mine and we saw this car and he said "dude thast a cool car". I personally thought a 90 year old, fat, retarted woman looked much better and I asked him what made it cool. This got me to thinking...what is "cool" anyways? Is it what MTV tells you it is, or Abercrombie says?

So I thought I'd ask the people at Captain Cynic what they thought was "cool".

Post some stuff on what you think is cool, anything from cars, clothes, hair, television shows, music, etc

Personally I think that low riding black cars, Seinfeld-Futurama, Bono (during the Zoo TV era in 1991...not today) Radiohead and The Strokes are cool too.

Jack Nicholson is cool. That is an undisputed fact.

I think people are cool when they naturally stand out in a crowd for some reason. None of that trying to be different crap. Someone who is relaxed and confident yet humble, and just goes about their business. Somewhat eccentric, and wearing a pair of black shades helps, too.

Some things I think are cool: Big Sugar, red corvettes, black shoes, 80's nostalgia, thigh-high pantyhose, Hitchcock blondes, capri pants, Miami Vice, people who smile to mostly one side (sort of like Cretchien... but NOT REALLY).

Cool is completely relative, but unfortunately many people worship trends and adopt other people's views of cool instead of finding their own.

reading is cool.... lol so is music... alllllllll kinds of music!!! yeah yeah thats cool in my book.... lol stupid pun.... hehehe
