I haven't even seen this movie yet and just by looking at the trailer, I'm pretty sure it's going to be one of my all time favorites... unless this young white kid ruins the whole movie.

With George Lucas, post original starwars days, you shouldnt pray for any non corny movies.
He's brilliant at hiring the best actors in the world and making them look uncomfortable and corny. And taking his once decent worlds, and making them into one long advertisement for the latest console game.

Did anyone ever watch the Japanese TV series from the 80s called Monkey?
It was one of my favourite shows as a child and the character Monkey was one of my first role models.
I even had my very own Magic Wishing Staff that I used to use to fight my friend from across the road who had Pigsys Muck Rake.
Though I doubt a children's movie Hollywood version will be able to live up to Monkey.
Speaking of movie versions of Chinese classics.
John Woo is making an epic blockbuster of the Battle of Chi Bi called, The Battle of Red Cliff. Its the biggest Chinese made movie ever and is based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms Saga. An ancient history of the early days of China.
For those of you who have played the Dynasty Warriors series on the Playstation, you will be familiar with the characters, history and battle.
I cant wait for that one.

Probably the funniest movie of 2008, aside from Get Smart (I hope). This should quench my destruction apatite until Dragonball comes out in 2009 at any rate.
