Definitely good choice Decius(I wish I would have gotten to this post before you) but, I guess recently I would have to go with Lord of War.

Seven Samurai.

Shawshank Redemption? Good but too schmaltzy and laboured and it's simply a rehash of a-million Frank Capra films - which, incidentally, were better.

Fight Club? A surfeit of ideas, muscular direction, and plenty of youthful nihilism - which is unfortunately beset by the vices of adolescence as well. More heady "cleverness" than substance, the film lacks the intellectual clarity to stand as a truly enduring work. And yet another plot twist which hinges on a split personality - yawn.

Casual entertainment-wise, I'd have to say Dog Day Afternoon with Al Pacino. He's brilliant in it.

Waking Life is a close second. Full of thought-provoking material, but my brain clicks in and out of it, as I have difficulty keeping up with it after a while. Too many thoughts!

For just a movie to sit back and watch, I'd say Caddyshack. Funniest movie on earth. Though Sin City is a close second, right there with Schindler's List. Brilliant flicks, all of them.

My most recent fav. movie is Fun with Dick and Jane.

Reason being the corparate asshole who tried to fuck everyone in turn got fucked.

I felt so peacefull at the end of that movie.

A close second was Jackass the movie. It was second cos its not really a movie

I would have to say its a tie between Anchorman and Dodgeball. Both of them are so dumb, they're funny. If I had to pick one though I'd say Anchorman, just because its Will Farrell
