Art and interaction [+ favourites]

Emotions and thoughts are expressed through a persons art and/or their interactions with people. An artist would feel accomplished and to some degree happy for completing a peice of work the way he or he wanted to. Why? I believe because they have effectively communicated onto the surface what was within them. All people just want to be understood and to do so we must all become effective communicaters.

Art is one of the best forms of communication when it comes to expressing emotions. If a picture says 1000 words I think an art work says 10 times more. Nevertheless, it is extremely flawed at best. We can never really communicate how we feel or what emotions we are feeling.

But isn't that that the beauty of it all?

it could well be, art does always show us something of the painter or sculptor, in the case of damien hirst or tracey emin it shows that they need urgent mental help, but with most painters it gives you an insight into how they see the world.

i wouldnt neccessarily say however that it was the best way of expressing it, as it usually requires some explanation.
