Running Scared
first off, i dont particularly like Paul Walker. he is sort of just your run of the mill "rough boy" type actor. since this is the exact type of character he plays in Running Scared, it fits him very well. all of the other main characters were cast very well also. Karel Roden, who some may remember from 15minutes, played an amazingly intense role.

the unusual and sometimes disorienting camera angles added a significant unique element to the movies fast pace. the twists and turns kept me interested. though the constant cursing was a reminder of the types of people in the movie, it also caused some potentially great scenes to lack significance.

the opening scene and final showdown were reminiscent of a Tarantino film. some plot revalations caught me totally off guard. overall i was very pleased.
