That's the best way. Religion and spirituality got ruined when the idea's passed from person to person until a whole group was beleiving the exact same thing. That's another problem is that most people who associate themselves with any religion disagree with "because that's how it is" or "that's what it says in the Torah" or statements like these.

I believe very strongly in Christian ideals, and I believe God is. However, I choose not to follow a multitude of "religious" people who push their own beliefs on others and have the short-sighted arrogance to call it religion.
