Male vs. female [+ favourites]

[u][i]
An issue recently crossed my desk that I want your opinions on. We all know men and women are different psychologically and physiologically(most of the time), but in the crazy times we are in today are men still stronger than women? And for the military should women and men go through the same tests are should women have less physically demanding tests? This goes in the case of infantry fire*people* and cops. As it stands right now in the military the physical tests for females are easier than males. These test scores are factored in for promotion above junior enlisted ranks. In turn females ( in general not providing njp/non-judicial punishment or other legal punishments) promote faster. Hope I didn't offend anyone.
I don't know if i should have put this under another category

anyone is able to train themselves to be physically fit or strong enough to take a test if you work hard enough. this goes for women. all standards should be equally difficult to men and women. women are genetically not as strong as a man most of the time, but like i said.....you can train to be any strength.

everyone should have the same requirements. i think you would find less women able to meet them, but there should be the same expectations of everyone. just cuz a woman cant bench 1500lbs or a man cant stop and ask for directions doesnt make either of them inferior. simply different.

Quite right: keep rules there that satisfy the placement of the required role.

Allow all applicants and choose the best ones based upon the unbiased criteria that fit that role. That is true equity.
