'God works in mysterious ways'

To us, yes.

To Him, no:

God knows what 'he' does.

Therefore to get to God we must do so through understanding so that the mysterious is no longer mysterious but known.

Stict advocates of a sect or denominition of religion may say they are standing upon the mountain of truth already and that people who attempt to do this just find out the hard way.

True, possibly. The problem is there are so many diferent religions. The middle ages was characterised by some strange religions which many ridicule today: only through imagniation, thinking, logic, reason and mind did we overcome these and see brighter lights.

However, the seed of the tree of most branches of religion is God.

Some see God as different with different attitudes etc.

Imagine a large green covered in mountains. Some religions rest there case on higher mountains in reality; some on lower mountains. Those not on the highest mountain may never see more than that which they are closed by. Some never wonder from there groundings.

The eseence of questioning and wonder, is something which allows us to find more; to become more with God surely. Some may scan what has already been done. They may rest at the top of the highest mountain of human knowledge and scan everything else so to make other things better.

However, if you really want to become one with God you must explore what you think is the unkown. To dive into oceans never before swam, to try and go higher than the skies. For then, as you gather a greater picture of what is; you become...naturally more understanding to the way things work...and of course teherfore better understand God.
