Engine swap [+ favourites]

I have a wonderful 454/turbo 400 (after being wrecked by an uninsured idiot ) that needs a home. will it be possible or are there engine swap kits to fit a 82 to 92 firebird/camaro ????
I'm finding hard to find an earlier model at a decent price.
Any input greatly appreciated !! TIA

I dont think that a 454 will fit in those cars. The engine mounts are not even close and the steering are is in the way as well.

However anything can be done with money it just dependes if you want a plug and play car.

Thanks for the reply. I reckon an older model is the only answer. Would be a tight fit ...oh well

I think that a 71-78 style would work with little modification. Call a engine builind/re-building shop. They would know for sure what would fit in what.
