my teacher showed us that i find it lame... they cant really do much except for make more of them if u give them the materials

Well, thats pretty much what reproduction is. You can't get something out of nothing, you have to give them materials before they can reproduce. And besides, it's not like there's many robots that can do this.

Yeah, but can the robot reproduce itself without being instructed to do so? And does it have an unlimited amout of materials to work with?
