I need sleep.. [+ favourites]

Holy shit, I just completely misunderstood this poll above the board about trimmed, unshaved, shaved or whatever the last one was..I was thinking of a guy's FACE so I chose unshaved since they look absolutely adorable in the morning with stubble..

..until I realized it was asking about me. Now I feel like kicking myself, but then again, does that mean I don't have a dirty mind yet? I need sleep, it's almost 4 in the morning and I'm up wandering around the net because bumming around my friend's apartment for 5 hours wasn't enough.

Please god.
That poll still irks me.

*cringes*
Dammit.

I'm not the only one up, I see!
And for your information, if I were fully awake, I would have chosen shaved.
I know you were thinking..I KNOW IT.

This state sucks, dude.
That's why I can't sleep.
Too many republicans wandering around and lack of urban life.
I guess that's what you get for living in the middle of nowhere.

You go to NYC, look up at this huge residential tower, and the first thing you think is "Holy shit, that thing is bigger than the Qwest building?!" And that'll pretty much end any sort of respect you had for Denver being considered a metropolitan city. It's like..tiny town.

...when you can actually see it!
I only take the B-Line down there if I have to, if I can avoid that city I will!

Asta, must be a city folks? Kind of strange, lack of bedrock means our cities produce urban sprawl, not monoliths of towering heights.
We also don't have subways or any viable municiple transit system to speak of either, makes owning an auto a necessary evil for survival in the cities.

i think its more the fact that Denver is suppose to be sort of "where its at" in colorado... ya know, where "everything happens" ... and the truth of it is that Denver is dirty, boring, and very small compared to true "big" cities. to put it bluntly, Denver is a joke.

at least this is how i feel.

A while back I made a road trip thru colorado, I was amazed at how much the population had grown, town seemed to have sprung up all over the place since I went thru there as a kid.
Really brought home ' home densely populated the whole country has become . . .

Yeah especially when you get off of HW 36 going to a concert, make one wrong turn and end up in some desolate, shitty industrial place where the roads are all dusty and there's no one in sight. Actually, I haven't been to Denver in months now -

They did pass Fast Tracks though, so apparently that's supposed to make us more cooler because we don't have anything else that really does. Except ..I am highly amused by the really efficient RTD system here in Boulder,

with the JUMP, SKIP, BOUND, HOP and BOLT!

This thread is making me want to leave tomorrow.
Lived my entire life here so far, and as cturtle was getting at, all I've seen is development and more development without any real growth in city life. Just more people and more places to be utterly bored, Civic Park and the museum become boring after only a couple trips and the Zoo is a joke.

But,
I'm sure everyone can agree,
Colfax is a trip.
Haha.

colfax is probably the most interesting place, and that is very, very sad.
