Science doesn't CLAIM to have any absolutes, everything is a theory and theories are generally accepted as truth if they can withstand years of testin and experimentation - at least, if you want to be scientifically correct about it.
For all I care, the reason religion exists to begin with is because it's a survival mechanism that has proved to be an adaptive trait for the evolution and sustanence of this species.
When people start debating the technicalities of religion, that proves they've missed the entire point of what it really serves to begin with. At least, if you're in it for the self-betterment and spiritual business.
