Oic. Name them please. And don't use the words "killing innocent people" or "lying to us about his motives" unless you can prove it. Because those arguments have been used up and are bone dry

Its not our job to prove anything. he provided a reason for war, and his reasons have not been proven. Despite his best abilities they have been proven wrong, hence he lied/was missinformed/believed the wrong people, and as a leader, does not have the luxury of saying sorry.

What in the world makes you think its in any way our job to prove that what he is saying is a lie?

He's not some dad. He's the PRESIDENT, he is the COMMANDER IN CHIEF. He is at the head of armed forces and he is responsible for them. Obviously he cannot control what the soldiers do. BUT its crystal clear now that Rumsfeld changed the rules so that interrogations were more brutal, though he did not authorize torture, he created an environment where it was far more likely to occur.

Given that Rumsfeld and Bush are very close, Bush must have known of this and neither men took the precautions necessary to avoid this.

We can also talk about the captives in Guantanamo, which is again, dodging of human rights agreements. And Bush wants the US to be the "moral leader" of the world.

there are a lot of maybes and excuses for bad things that have happened while bush has been in office. im going to try and be unbiased here. clinton lied, he apologized, he made a few mistakes, like every president has. but let us not forget that under clinton's rule there was relative peace, the economy had the highest and longest-lasting boom in the history of the united states. since bush has been president, we have lost more jobs than we have gained, the first time this has happened in eighty years. im not saying this is his fault, im sure this had a lot to do with the recession beginning right at the time 911 happened, but the fact that the negatives have accumulated to far outweigh the positives since bush has been in office. and he always seems to have an excuse. and i also realize that during this "war on terror," the economy is taking a second on our priorities list to fixing this mess in iraq that we have gotten into under bush's ruling. maybe i'm wrong--maybe when bush gets reelected he'll do everything he says and establish peace in the middle east or whatever it is he's trying to do, and he'll be remembered as a hero. it's just looking farther and farther from the truth.
