Oh! Thanks for asking! It was probably one of the coolest birthdays ever. I took up some advice I picked up from Decius a while back and did exactly what I wanted to do. I spent seven hours waiting to see Obama in my home town. Ended up about five feet away from him at one point and ten feet away for most of his speech. He's pretty much a rock star for nerds right now.

Bill Ritter and Betsy Markey were a nice bonus.

That is an awesome word. Never come across it before either, in all my years! Sometimes I wish I was antediluvian.

I don't think I'll ever get that old. We speak the language with the most ridiculously high word count available. I doubt any of us know all 600'000 odd that you find in the big dictionaries, let alone the mass of words that don't make it into the dictionary as they're not common enough to be worth putting in.

Ya, on both counts . . . I remember JFK & my smoking preferences (habits) are older than most of you.
PS Morning gathering at the table, cups of java, wine & quevo add some smoke . . . Yes, I can remember JFK"S Assassination .and where I was . ya, I can remember doing those air raid drills.. ya, in case of nuclear war, get under your desk because most of us were at school when JFK"S Assassination happened.

That ia a wicked speech. I have never wanted to vote or ever cared about what any politician anywhere has ever said or promised.

I would have voted for JFK after that speech. You know why.....I actually felt he was being 100% truthful and honest.
