There comes a day
For all to say
In their own special way
How much one loves their own mother
When you think back to simpler times
Nursery rhymes and innocent minds
Fear was near but real unclear
Making you wish you could just disappear
Mommy came with the light
To make everything all right
She brought the water you thought you needed
And words of advice in which you heeded
Never will there be any other way
To say what you have to say
In your own special way on any other day
To the one who always made everything OK!
