It Just Isn't Ever Right

Upside down rainbow
in the eastern desert
As a storm rages in a mellow sea

I know I'm not always right
I also know I've hurt no one
and yet
pain goes on out of no where
Yes I know that I should fight
but when I take my left I get hit with a right
and I take my right I get hit with a left
no matter how hard I try
I can't make it right
It's best I find a cave and just stay out of sight
Because we're living in propogandnation out in TV land
Nothing is doing and there isn't a plan
A world deceived
truth is not believed
A lie I'm to believe
or be called on the carpet
be called out of step

The rainbow goes sideways
in the western land
With a snow storm in a summer breeze

What i love about poetry is that we can take it however we want,

when i found out that benazir died today i felt sick tgo my stomach, and i thought what can i do, theres nothing i can do, people have taken over the earth and have ruined it. for every happy child is a poordegraded weak meak dying baby, i just, my heart hurts with such pain that we live in such a world where we cant make it perfect. BUt i also believe we must try, even if nothing massive happens, we can still try to do something. I hope i am able to do something for humanity, and this may become my reason for living. even if you may laugh it, even if it never happens, its mine.

Yes that is terrible, she was the hope of Pakistan, elected by the majority. Pakistan would be called a Democracy, she must not have been friends of Bush and company the Neocons.

I hope we can turn this around I really do. They say that if Ron Paul takes office here that there will be a depression just before he takes office, he will have a real mess on his hands.

The bible teaches that Satan is the ruler of this earth and
there seems to be a minority in this world who seem to work together for this Satan making life difficult for all of us. (Though I really do not believe their is a Satan, just some kinda evil power.)

So why are we here, well, I guess if we weren't then it would really be bad, I think, I'm not sure. When I look and see all the natural resources each one of us is using up, well now, I'm really confused.

But you are right, my poem was about none of this. But poetry is feelings, and feelings can apply to a whole lot of different situations and I can only hope that my poem will cause a person to feel less alone in this world.

I liked that part a lot.

When you pick things apart the immediate beauty is usually lost. Another type of beauty replaces it but it's more of a mechanical, working beauty. The reason I liked those couple of lines is just because they painted a nice picture for me. I'd prefer not to figure out the exact reasons why I liked it because then I'd be losing something.
