| A Poem By Me..."Alright"  [+ favourites]
I wrote a poem a while ago at a dark time in my life. I was really depressed (yuck!) anyway I decided to share it with you. Originally I wrote it in French, because I didn't want it to make sense lol, but I rewrote it in English. Some words may be mixed up, but that's only because I had a difficult time translating. Anyway here it is...
Write what you know
Go on go, let it flow
of all your sorrows
free your spirit
let the wind feel it
and you'll hear it
cause every once in a while
you see that tiny little rainbow
and you smile to yourself, because it was all worth while
and then you go back to reality and realize
everythings going to be alright, alright...
Your caught up in the moment
you see only in black and white
but their's always a gray area
and that's the spot you like
cuz everythings not that simple
sometimes they come to an ondule (rip,ripple I think)
Icy hands upon my shoulders
suddenly an ocean to wash away your soul
cuz soon enough your face fades
and your nothing but black shades
you never understood assumptions
but when your older you know
but right now it's okay not to know
Cuz everyonce in a while
you see that tiny little rainbow
and you smile to yourself cuz it's all worth while
and then you go back to reality and realize...
everythings gonna est bien bien...(be alright, alright)
Any comments? It's called Alright and it's about a sad, lonely girl finding happiness if any one wants to know. I hope my translation was good!
