Taking a chance is like taking a bath, because sometimes you end up feeling comfortable and warm, and sometimes there is something terrible lurking around that you cannot see until it is too late and you can do nothing else but scream and cling to a plast - Lemony Snicket

Induction Hypothesis

Blind they march, one foot in front, then the other
Lines drawn, paths crossed, buttons pushed
Wheels turn straight, no intersection, no connection

We count the moments in steps Steps
Steps only their prints share.
Spare me a care?

Aware you don't
Aware I want
Aware you want
Aware WE
won't

Hombre de Oro

There a big rock sparkles
Don't sit! It lives in Arizona, and it's noon.

Tortured, it frumps
Plucked from its cool mountainous side
Departed from itself like solo twins,
the edge of it still belonging longing
somewhere else.

Exposed now, its innards gleam
Passersby allured
They want to know its name,
the history and purpose their dream.

Astrophysics

The wormhole
connecting you and me,
throbbing.
Spanning from whence i am
for hence you be.

No matter
yet physical,
living in MY house, AND yours.
Peoples passing through it
to use the loo or open a door,
get slimed.

It's a problem.

Buddha Brains

Train rolls downtown espousing take it easy---Really?
Yes, and cars make their presence known in hums.

I wonder if Jenny's neighbor thinks my rolee is some buddha,
squelching urges to denounce such.

Turning in to watch another world unfold, averted
by an offer of beverage, yes
then thank you, thank you very much.

NO! don't think it, another world unfolding,
must obey
neighbor's demand
to have
a good day.

The bell told one
word of advice-- it's time
to fold the laundry.
and one, question to ask--
How many times you gonna wash it,
when it's all come out already?!

also one thing I must do...

put it

away.

A Walk Down Memory LaMe

desperate
desperate
desperate
hole
fill
please Please
DESPERATE

Chest filled spills adrenalin
brain leakage
BLAH!

No rational step into grey
door, store fronten' psychic pockets
Pockets to fill not your hole!
Desperate hole
fill fill
desperate

please

fill

hole.... don't feel whole.

There's some good stuff here. The first poem was my favorite.
