X-Men First Class |
Nothing MUCH to say about this, except it is worse than Xmen 1 and 2, and surprisingly, even 3. It rips off a wicked scene in 1, which is so lame it is... lame.
Anyways, this, for all intents and purposes, is a high budget B movie. It has its moments where the music and action team up well, but few and far between.
Kids in the (60s was it?) acting and looking like kids in 2011... which is stupid, and has always been stupid.
Important thing to watch for: Eaten something bad? Want to cause your stomach some discomfort? Watch Lenny Kravitz daughter trying to act, which is similar, I conceptualize, to being drowned in a barrel of ipecac. No, seriously - this example of fame breeding opportunities for the severely untalented can not be more well stated. I'm singling her out, but January Jones could also induce vomiting, as could alot of other characters.

Oh, and the black guy gets killed first.
I must say however... it was extremely pleasing to see kevin bacon, who i did not know was in it. He's the man.
And the transformation of beast... that was friggin cool, cause I had no idea who that character was until he turned blue. Then again though, that's the legacy that feeds it, not this movie.

I agree, this movie was sadly forgettable, instantly.
Dynamic emotion is obviously hard to produce in film, and they failed. Yes there is some emotion, but its lacking depth unfortunately undercuts the very lagacy you mention. But that's ok, there will be a new origin in five or ten years probably, like spidey.
I wonder if a good example of an origin, like batman, will be bested ever?

X-Men:First Class is mine favorite action movie. I like to watch these type of movies because this types of movies in which have many fighting,stunts and revenge which i like most.
