RoboCop 2010? |
RoboCop is one of the last untainted worlds of my childhood. Just about everything is re-done by lazy bastards who want to turn a profit these days.
Upon discovering that Darren Aronofsky would take charge of the new RoboCop movie, I became very conflicted emotionally. Darren Aronofsky is great, one of the very few directors I have always found to present a bit more depth and intrigue in his films.
Why the fuck is he making RoboCop? I feel like he's going to kill what's left of my childhood. But I also feel like he could actually do a good job reviving the series.
