Yes, because invading a province that was a part of your nations land is evil and oppressive. No one has the right to attack a separatist group. Just let them go and take whatever with them. That’s the right thing to do.
Just ignore Confederate America, and Hawaii, and Texas, or any of the native Americans who were kicked out of there land, that was meant to be. Those were reasonable because keeping the country united and land grabbing was fine.

The Georgians' after a decade of training and armorment by the US, who is still there (doing what?), thats who.
After over a decade of peace and no fighting, they launched a surprise attack on Russian separatist areas of Georgia killing thousands of military and civilians.
They were even using state of the art sound wave cannons and dead American's are being found on the field of battle.
This is ultimately the same shit that happened with Israel and their recent little war.
This is Iran's ally, what's happening right now, the olympics, now a quiet war with large headlines of evil russia, now russia may end up entangled and hated more, what else is happening?
We are sending even more carriers and battleship groups to Iran.
Not to mention putting missiles on russia's borders, another insane hypocrisy seen in the cuban missile crisis, defty batted away by the "its alright when we do it" mentality.

I've been rolling in my unfounded grave all week listening to right wing radio talk about the evil kgb, evil putin, evil russia, that this is a war for oil and puppet regimes, oh how easy it is for them to say these things about others.
But when the same charges are leveled at the US, nuh uh, we are in Iraq and Afghanistan for freedom and democracy, the oil and heroin is just a coincidence.
Does any of this mean I think Russian factions in this are innocent and not working for likely nefarious ends, of course not.
What I'm saying is, regardless of the history of the region, right now things are happening, one side started aggressive actions, and the story we are being fed is a biased half truth turned into a blatant lie, like every other piece of mainstream "war" press we've gotten in I have no clue how long.
None of which is properly carrying information about the foreign influence on the scene, and the far more recent historical relevance of that, which means we only get half the story, and a manipulated one at that.
But this shit just got serious. And we have to put a stop to it, we cannot allow our renegade government to start world war whatever number you want to call it.
This is falling on our feet, we are the one's starting multiple wars, invading multiple countries, fighting proxy wars through puppets, just like the evil enemies, but we are starting it all.
We are the cause and the source, no one else, for we are responsible for our government and our military.
