Some people still think god is a guy/male/guy

*Just because the bible was written by man not women

*Just becuse all the prophets were man and no women
(becuase woman back then were treated badly ok they were the one who held no authority over anything not even there own bodies so guys could do whatever they liked to them)

this doesnt mean god is a guy

Historically speaking, men have been the creators-innovators of the earth. So it makes sense for the ultimate creator to be more closely associated with the male sex. All scriptures of popular monotheistic religions have a god viewed in a male oriented way... partially, if not completely due to males having more control over mediums.

From a monotheistic perspective, it's quite foolish to believe that a single god ruling over all things would have a particular sex. Referring to that god as male however is somewhat forgivable due to circumstances.

Wouldn't it make more sense for God to be female because fertility equals life? Depends on how you view God, I suppose.

Ive alwasy thought of this as a ridiculous argument because humans put human characteristics to something that isn't of this world. How about it doesnt have a gender because it isnt an organism? lol

I would say because it isn't definable, whether it is an organism is actually quite possible.
